Tips for keeping your account secure
Use a strong password
Use a password of at least eight characters that combines uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Do not use easy or guessable words such as your date of birth or name.
Keep OTP verification enabled
When OTP is enabled during 8mbets bd login, a code is sent to your number. Without that code, no one else can access your account — so keeping OTP enabled is the most effective protection.
Watch out for fake sites
Fake sites that look like 8mbets bd are sometimes created online. Always check that the address in your address bar is correct. Avoid logging in through unfamiliar links.
Do not share
Never share your password or OTP code with anyone — the support team will never ask for your password or OTP. If someone requests these by phone or chat, it may be an attempt to defraud you.
Avoid public Wi-Fi
Logging in over free Wi-Fi at tea stalls or shopping malls can be risky. Use your own mobile data or a trusted network.
SSL protection
SSL encryption is active on the 8mbets bd platform — when you see the lock icon in your browser's address bar, your connection is secure and your data is encrypted.
Common login problems and solutions
There is no need to panic if you run into trouble logging in. Most problems have simple causes and can be resolved easily. Below are a few common situations and what to do:
Password showing as incorrect?
Check whether Caps Lock is on. Uppercase and lowercase letters make a difference in passwords.
Account locked?
Entering the wrong password several times may cause a temporary lock. Wait a few minutes or contact support.
Page not loading?
Check that your internet connection is working. Clear your browser cache and try again.
OTP not arriving?
Wait one to two minutes. It may take a little longer if your network is weak. If it still has not arrived, use the "Resend" option.
Problem logging in on the mobile app?
Check whether the 8mbets bd App is up to date. Login issues can occur on older versions.
